Hi Guys

I bought this PAM (I think its a PAM 90) in the market in Saigon and apart from a lousy plastic strap the rest looks to be a good quality.

I would welcome any information that any of you guys might have about the manufacturer and/or movement. It seems to keep excellent time and the power reserve feature works and the data presser works.

look cheap, how much did you pay? I hope you didn't pay more than 2million VND.

I paid $130 for it knowing the Plastic strap needs replacing but the actual watch seems to be pretty good quality but not the best by any means.

Maybe slightly overpaid but hey, if you like it, it doesn't matter. it's an experience :)

just remember to get from the tds when you want something better the next time.

I think once you start seeing what's available here , you'll come to your own conclusion on that watch.

Have a 372 on the way from Joshua and also a 243. Picked up a 2013 catalog at an AD and now browsing through thinking if I bought just one Gen what it would be?

Very good movement - Seagull ST-2530, designed with power reserve.
Change strap and enjoy.

I think by no more than 20 bucks but it is so much easier to buy from TD's than when there are thousands of reps in front of you in asia.

^ not really. If you know how and who to ask for good watch, you will find nice ones. I found some nice and quality watches there.

I had been in Sai Gon and Hong Kong, and shopped in flea market for replica watches. From my experience you never accept the first price they give you. Trust me, if they said $200, haggle $70-$80, they will not except, and you start to walk away, they will call you back and offer $100-$120.
Here is the fun part, you go the next shop or the shop across that they know you had bought one from their neighbor, they will try to get your business and offering the real price, $50-$80, there you just over paid $50.

Thanks for the info on the movement. Very interesting that its a Seagull. I have been wearing it for most of the holiday and it seems to keep good time and the power reserve works perfectly.

Just ordered a Gen Pam 104 and should get it next week. It will be interesting to see how it compares.
