Turning off notifications did not help me. Had to uninstall App alltogether.
I contacted support at Tapatalk and just got an e-mail back from them saying that they are looking into my reported issue.
From my conversation with them, they did not appear to be aware of the problem, which is strange because surely I can't be the first one have reported this.
We'll see what happens. I am not reinstalling until it is fixed!

There is a network problem from the forum server to tapatalk server, and plugin side send the push data to tapatalk server without getting correct response and always retry sending it, however the data was received. That cause the problem. Actually the problem was already be fixed in latest plugin for quit a long time. The tapatalk plugin on this site it too old. Please inform the admin to update it to latest and it will be alright. Sorry for any problems, and thanks all for you feedbacks.

"We should find out the problem. There seems to be a network connect problem from the forum to tapatalk server. Plugin side try to send out the push data with incorrect response and always retry, however the data is already received. Actually this problem is already fixed in our latest plugin for quite a long time. It will be all fine if the forum update plugin to latest (It's too old currently)
Please help update or inform the forum owner to update the plugin to latest version.

The problem should be fixed on tapatalk side already. This problem only happened on forum with old plugin. Though it's alright now, we still recommend the admin update the plugin too latest version with more features and bugs fixed.
Had the same multiple notifications issue on ver 4 beta... Task killed the app and reopened and was fine after that.

Tap Talk SUCK! Don't get half of the PM people send me. Cant see everything on the forum when needed! Just don't like it. Cant get that forum view I like!
It will do when on the run or bizy! But like the laptop better! And since it become free after I paid for it! It really act's up. But what are you to do! Esp when you are like me and run 10 to 12 hours a day hustling!

It's so nice that it's fixed now.
I just figured out that if you have scrolled down through a menu or thread and you tap the black status bar, it scrolls right up to the top. Handy
On T1 it was different and I couldn't figure it out on T2... now I'm happy.
