Hello there,

can anybody tell me what are the main differences between the v2 and the v3 / v3.5 ?
Can't find it in the forum althought I have searched a lot.

Thanks in advance

It's mostly just cosmetic. Lume, dial, caseback, etc.

v3 vs v3.5 -> v3.5 has colorless AR on cyclop

V2 -> wrong caseback edge shape, wrong dial tapisserie, no lume on inner bezel but with better thicker numbers though, bad lume overall, wrong date window, no or worse AR on crystal, no AR on cyclop, wrong strap though it is a bit softer than v3 & v3.5

and also some minor things like: buckle edge is a bit different but hardly noticeable, no inner movement protecting caseback on v2 vs v3 & v3.5

So instead of buying a modded v2 I could have bought a v3.5 :-(
That would have been much cheaper...
Afterwards you are always smarter!

Researching prior to purchase turns to be a good idea now, but anyway you bought yourself a nice solid watch. I have both v2 and v3,5 and wear them both.

I have the 3.5 while the dial does not have the blue ar the cyclops still has the blue on the ar.

nope, on my v2 it is of the same size. It is smaller on channel factory version, which is a v....1 i think

Ahh I see, those are the ones with just pretty much painted on bezel numbers on the circular date window?

Just picked up a modded 2.0 last month and am still blown away by the fit and finish. The piece has been modded with double AR, relumed dial and bezel, bezel screws sunken blah blah blah. She has an ETA ticker and runs great.

After the purchase I discovered, as you have, that I could have purchased a 3.5 for the same price. While the 3.5 may be more accurate, there is no way it can match the wrist presence of my little modded 2.0. Not straight out of the box anyhow (if you know what double AR does for an AP ROO dial then you know what I'm talking about).

I humbly suggest you wear your 2.0 with pride and enjoy it for what it is. Stop looking for what it is not. Some design details may not reflect the OEM build with 100% accuracy, but the look and feel are dead on IMO.

I suppose a pic is in order after all that ranting. Here's my humble v2. Love the dial, the invisible crystal and the wrist presence. The cyclops and case back are a bit annoying at times. Such is life, see my post above...
