Mike, am definitely gonna do it to the wifes GMTII and will probably do it to the Noob at the same time, only thing stopping me, is the medium that Pillworx uses aren't readily available in the UK.
Am sure similar paints are available, but ad rather stick to the proven medium. Just postage that kills buying and having the stuff sent over. Costs 3 or 4 times for postage what it does for the paint. Thinking about removing the bezels to do it. However, I had spoke to Ryan about it and am waiting to see if the V2 has an updated bezel. Ryan is gonna source any parts that the V1 needs and get them to me.
I got a couple of inserts from Ryan to practice with and there's some good paints out there to try.I used some plat car paint which worked spot on.i think sticking to the process is more important to get the right look.looks like your sorted with Ryan with up grade bits.look forward to seeing how this works out for you

Iggy, I still love the GMTII thats why am more than happy that Gill, the mrs wears it now, cos I get to have a wee shot now and again lol, but having tried it on again when I was taking these pics, I have to agree, I cant wait either hahaha

Exactly, different flaws for different people I guess. I do agree the machining of the BP case could be improved, its not on par with noobs in that dept.
Always a pleasure to be able to disagree with someone on the net and not have it turn into a keyboard war. Kudos!
I'm terrible at the PPPP mod.. tried a few times and failed badly! Pill would not be proud.

the dial has excellent superlume, i had PbDad relume the hands to match because the BP comes with brutally green uncharged lume.

only if you want some sort of custom look, the case on the BP GMTII is perfect.
gen crystal can be used but i believe you have to use the rep gasket. the rep crystal works fine for me, as you can see in my pic the cyclops ar is decent, not perfect, but works.
