Definitive guide on TDs and factories?

I don't usually buy from TD's so it'll be nice to see which factories make what and which TDs are associated with them.

I suppose certain factories make better models than others.

I've only been here a year and not embarrassed to say I don't know the difference between H, Noob, HBB, BP and all those factories.

I'm under the assumption that certain TDs have ties to certain factories, no? And not all factories make the same sub or AP Roos or whatever.

You can go to puretime tell him you want bp sub he gets you bp sub
You can go to him again and ask for noob sub he can get it
Sometimes td's will partner up with factories to release "limited editions"
Such as Ryan's Tour auto 2012 and toros 57th st.

I would trust TD more than members, I am not saying members are dishonest, but I think there is lower risk of buying from TDs than from members.

Question like this can easily be answered with a bit of self searching and reading. Plenty of guides, reviews and comparison made by many members here which you can find out yourself which makers have a better one.

I haven't dealt with Angus. I have purchased from Sead, MR, and Narikaa. I don't think they have access to all the factories. My recent purchase was a DayDate from Sead who got it from BP. It wasn't until afterwards that I was aware BP and Noob made the same watch but with some differences on the fluted bezel. Not that it matters much to me but it would have been nice to know.

I wasn't looking for a particular watch when posing this question. I just wanted to know a little more about the makers and the differences in the makes they offer when compared to others.

Just curious. You've got almost 500 posts and a year here. What exactly have you been reading all this time ?
