Yes yes funny. But seriously. Did anyone do a picture comparison of the screws?

Not that I have seen. But that means very little as the factory may of hastily screwed them in far enough for the photos. Until someone gets either QC or the actual watch....

Ok since everyone is bitching....

Someone start a REP MOD SHOP in the USA or some semi legitimate country that I send my 93.4% accurate forged carbon Audimarz Piggy and fix the flaws.

Im open to start/fund this venture if someone skilled is local in Florida.
People like me who have bought gens and realized how close these are but still want as close to perfection as possible are willing to pay. Id pay at least 1500$ for this watch we are talking about if it was flawless on the outside.

How about you wait until you have the watch in your hands. Have you even ordered one?

Yeah a SS diver and it is pretty close except a few things like the 20 30 40 50 on the rotating bit are wrong and the date isnt perfect. Not ordering something that is unwearable like the pics of this carbon diver i've seen thus far untill I know someone that can fix it, I dont even want to wear the SS diver untill I can get a gen rotating bezel if it will even fit inside idk. The crowd Im with will notice these things and yes im the guy that will pass them off as legit pieces because someone like me you wouldnt think wears knockoffs but the savings is to large to ignor based on what i've spent id rather buy a boat or 2 cars and wear pieces that I cant tell the diff side by side. for how close they are is downright amazing for this price but at this point it takes maby an extra hr worth of designing to make them the extra 3% to perfect clones which means everything to me.

If you want perfection you know where to go. Understand, the factories don't just make for the few here. They are looking at making mass production to maximize the profits. We are fortunate that a few dealers have the ear of the factories and they listen. To them the masses are happy with 75-80% to expend resources to make the few happy is not good business sense. There are a few modders, yes even on Florida that can take a watch and make it maybe 95%. If you want more then you know where the AD's are located. If you had seen the watches that were being offered to us 5-8 years ago you would be crazy. Nuff said.

I'm done trying to explain that to a guy who hasn't even been here for a month.

Some are so worried about the flaws or the so called tells, when the biggest tell of all are the ones wearing the watch. You can't just slap on a rep that's worth over $20,000 as a gen & not have the car, clothes & shoes to back it all up. That's the first thing that's going to get you called out. Just my point of view. It's awesome to see the direction these watches are going in and for the price....no complaints here!!!

I agree. I would worry more about his rep shoes!

Well caring about flaws or tells isn't necessarily a rational thing; it's just a personal preference.

I have a small gen collection worth about 40k and have other goods to back up a 20k watch... But it would bothers me to have a watch with pretty obvious flaws like the ap diver.

Obviously asking for flawless is too much but I was hoping that this watch would be as accurate as the pams.

Maybe it will be. It seems pretty good so far.

I think that without the watch in hand we are all just guessing. If you are fortunate enough to get one and do not care for it I'm sure someone will snap it up. I think that we really need to look at what it took to even get this watch made. It's like all new products out, you take a chance. If it is stellar you one of the few, a disaster and your still on of the few.

My thoughts are this will turn out to be stunning.

- which makes it even more ridiculous to expect, or demand in some cases here, the level of "Perfection" to be the same on a $300.00 watch as a $30,000.00 watch...

Not sure I buy this argument, since we all know that a huge proportion of that price is brand name premium. Anyway post the kv pams, I care much more about premium feel than 1:1 accuracy. IMO that will be particularly important on a rep of a $30,000 watch.

Hahaha - Can't you see the massive chips under the power of your nuclear microscope?

I mean, I for one know for a fact that there are a lot of people walking around with Nuclear powered microscopes at the ready and if they see a high end watch they will whip those suckers out in a second to examine the watch on your wrist.

Happens all the time lol

I am more concerned about the durability of the material than accuracy. If the factory milled the cg and caused it to crack I certainly won't be wearing it as a tool watch.

Yeah, we're on the same page. Hard to pick up on the humor sometimes - especially the sarcastic type I (And apparently you too) are so fond of.

No worries...

Gotta agree on if you need perfection - get the gen

If you put away the microscopes though, it looks like this is going to be one he!! of a watch. And given I'd rather own a used 911 than buy a watch for $25,000.00 +, you can"t beat the price @ about $300.00...
Did I get the price wrong because everyone keeps saying $300. I thought it was $398 which means at least is $400 or more including shipping or when rounded up. I know this Isn't math class but I wanted to be sure some people aren't getting a better offer lol

As long as it looks like it remotely a little?
Which I think they will come up with some good case sets for these FC Divers.
Here is the gen. I have been drooling over! LOL!
