so i can set it to my ex's cycle so i know when to not answer the door.BTW, why in the world would you need a working moonphase indicator, what could you possibly use it for? I do have a gen with moonphase and it's quite a useless feature. I'm curious if anyone uses it for anything, ever.

Not useless if you hunt, fish or farm mate. There are many reasons knowing the phase of the moon is handy.
