Stupid question - waterproofing Noobmariner

I've just been looking at the Noobmariner on TS Watch (http://www.tswatchltd.com/12855-xfr...c-bezel-black-ult-noobfactory-asian-2813.html) and it states that it's waterproof.

Can anyone confirm that this is true?

Not true! Never true! Can be made to be waterproof (usually) but never believe that it is WP from a dealer. It MIGHT be but there is no guarantee.

Unrelated, but I remember a thread comparing some of the best Subs (including a $49 special I'd like to buy as a gift for my brother).
Can anyone direct me to it? Is the $49 special still available and where? I think it was a while ago, so prices have probably gone up.

A $49 Sub?? Last one I remember close to that was Timeshops big Noobmariner sale about 2 years ago. You might have to try Canal Street or Price Angels.
