Ever since getting my first Rolex Submariner Rep from Narikaa, a Noobmariner, I fell in love with the simplistic design and iconic look of the Submariner.

I did a pictorial review for the Noobmariner and it can be found here: http://forum.replica-watch.info/vb/showthread.php/review-noob-mariner-95479?t=95479

With the Noobmariner, I spent quite a fair bit of time (& money) upgrading it with TC, WM9 and WM parts but somehow I still wanted more.

With the Noobmariner passed on to another local member to be loved, my attention focused on trying to score either a TC or BK built Submariner 16610LN or 16610LV..The itch for the Sub got me to a point where I almost splashed out for a gen piece during one of my business trips to Hong Kong..I'm glad I caught myself and refocused my attention to getting a TC/BK Submariner..

Having my birthday gift of a MBK 16613 modded by BK, I was well aware of the quality that BK produces in his builds and I steered my find in that direction..Luckily for me, a member was selling a BK TW 16610LV and I knew I had to have it. A check with BK and the LV parts had ran out so this was my only option..I bit the bullet and purchased the watch..Having it sent from Canada to Asia was a big risk that I had to factor in but I'm glad that the member assisted me in the way he did..Got the watch in about 7 business days and I was truly elated when I saw it..

The 16610LN is now mated with the following parts:

1. BK TW 16610LV with swiss heart & BK mods
2. 16610LN Noob Insert (shaved to fit)
3. WM Pearl
4. TC/WM9 v1 93250 Bracelet with correct hollow midlinks
5. TW WM9 v1 Clasp (93250)

and its TT brother got the following:

1. MBW 16613 with swiss heart & BK mods
2. 16613 Gen Insert
3. TC/WM9 v3 93250 Bracelet with correct hollow midlinks (currently awaiting a plating-wrapping procedure

Enough talking from me, this is supposed to be a pictorial review so here are some pictures I took earlier today:

I can't wait to add on more gen parts to my Subs..these iconic watches have not earned a place in the watchbox but also a secured spot on my wrist.. :D

Thanks for reading this and hope you enjoy it..any and all comments/feedbacks are most welcome.. :)

Here's a parting shot of the 'brothers':

i like them alot, one small word of advice, get a tc v3 strap for the 16610, you will not regret it (well except for the clasp sometimes)

Looks like the one Reg sells. Unfortunately , the links have exposed SS on the sides. I bought one and was very disappointed. There isn't a good 16613 bracelet being made.

Here is something to consider. It has been a while since I dug around with this but I remember there being some, "italian made" rolex bracelets out there. A grey dealer in Dallas, the Dallas Gold and Silver Exchange sells them on several of their Rolex with a disclaimer "genuine certified Rolex with Italian band" Now these are not cheap, cheaper than a gen Rolex but maybe they are worth the investment for a great 16613. Let's start a hunt gentlemen....:)

Thanks for the response, it's great that you clarified it is not an MBK aftermarket bracelet, but maybe you could let us know where you DID get it from?
