Ever wanted to scuba dive into an oil refinery in some banana republic, clock an inept guard, and detonate your explosive device after checking this?

Yup, I just built it. None of the TDs carry watches like this, but it can be done if you're crafty. More shots of a true Bond 6538: glossy dial, gilt hands, long minute hand, nice big crown, and a non-graduated bezel insert.

Have you considered using a replacement crystal? This crystal looks stock. Bet a tropic would make it pop.

Been trying to get a big crown for mods, but Silix tells me they are out of stock. Where'd you find your base watch mate?

I thought about grabbing the 16mm strap that Bond wears, but to me it looks too sloppy. A secret agent might be able to get away with it... If not perfectly accurate, the 20mm strap at least fits the watch.

Sloppy aside, you want to see that springbar under the strap, it's part of the charm, it's not supposed to be all covered up neat and tidy....

Fantastic. The strap is too thick though. A 16-17mm strap would be more accurate, haha
