USPS tracking question

I've very little experience with USPS tracking, I've ordered a strap for my Montoya from ApBands, I'm I right in saying from the tracking details posted that the strap hasn't left yet and is still at the sorting centre?

Tracking shows it has not left New York yet, however it's possible your strap could be in transit but the tracking was not updated. Sometimes even USPS tracking does not get updated.

Thanks, I've not checked the tracking since the 15th so was just surprised there was no update on the web site

They don't always update it in a timely manner but since it has been three days I bet it has left the sorting facility already.

Hi guys, I get a lot of stuff sent from the states international letter and do not receive any tracking updates after it's in the air, until it arrives in my home town and is out for delivery. This includes no customs or anything else usually, very spotty tracking. I wouldn't worry too much, and like cybee says it's more than likely in the air and on it's way to you.Good luck! (I'm in Canada by the way)

I'm pretty sure standard air mail tracking stops when it leaves the country.

Thanks for the help guys, kinda makes sense no more shipping updates once it leaves the USA. Hopefully it will arrive some day this week

Sorry for stating the obvious, I thought maybe you were just using the USPS system and didn't check yours.
