If you can't identify the differeneces between the two models , how are you judging the quality of the rep ? Their is a lot of FAIL in this thread.

U.K.
How did you identify? I will be buying a 116610 soon and want to make sure I can identify from QC pics!

If you can't tell the difference in a picture between a ceramic sub and the original sub then I would choose a new hobby!!

That's where newbies are newbies, and that's where people learn.

My sincere apologies.
I did not realise that you (amongst other chosen ones here) were born pre-loaded with absolute knowledge and rep identification skills, even before you got into watches as a hobby!

Oh lawdy, lawdy I ain't worthy!!!

Ps. Are there any more pre-requisites that I need to know of to be able to take on this hobby?
(Eg a maximum €o€k size of 2", or a minimum @$$h0l€ diameter of 11?")

Common sense. A desire to read the VAST information shared here by members throughout years. Don't be lazy. No one is here to spoon feed you like a child. Please spare us your QC pics as well. We don't want to see them. Before you order a watch, you should've made an effort to know what you are getting. Submariners are the most discussed and reviewed watch on this forum. There are tutorials , stickies etc dedicated to it. Now start reading like most of us did. That will make you a productive member of RWI. Instead of one that can't tell the difference between to very different watches.

Please read my post (#2) on the first page of this thread. where i clearly show what the difference is.

The only pre-requisite required is due diligence. You have to read and do homework as apposed to just posting ambiguous and open ended question.

If you do just that, the only responses you will get are sarcastic puns ...

Everyone on this forum was a noob at one point. Hasing from the elders or the experiences ones is just about protocol if you do not research and read prior to posting. We are all here trying to enjoy the same exact hobby.

For me having a knowledge in the history behind a watch, in this case Submariners, makes wearing more enjoyable and reflective on a daily basis. But rolex is a passion for me and I love Rwi , however, maybe some people just want a watch that has rolex print? But I have looks on Ryan's website and it looks as though he has photos of the new v2 as it has the skinny hr hand as opposed to the prototype which still hand the fat hand

PRECISELY my point! And being told that you should change hobby because you are not yet able to identify models by looking at a pic. doesn't particularly strike me as constructive forum conduct.

Reading a previous post on the matter is very useful, but experience and further/consistent sharing of knowledge and tips/tricks is vital, especially for newbies (who of course should always try and read as much as they can and search for previous threads), who are otherwise vulnerable.

I think that the above are precisely what a forum is for, and a positive atmosphere of camaraderie is far more constructive and preferable to snotty remarks.

No prob. As far as i know the 116610 LN - v2 is still in progress and has yet to be released (By noob factory).

thats why when i read it in your post, it certainly peaked some curiosity. Keep us posted on your progress though

Ryan received the watch back yesterday and I got an email today from him saying the 116610 LN Super 3135 has been ordered. Not sure if that means it is on it's way to him or if I am in a queue. Anyway, after I give the nod on the QCs I'll post them here.

Bitzgheist, I also got the same email. Per Ryans instructions, I declined to receive the first tracking number for the first parcel on Saturday. So it now its in route back to him.
I will also post an update for any appropriate or significant information on my 116610 LN Super 3135 order.

I still don't understand quite what has happened here.... did the OP order a 16610 and thought he was ordering sub-c or is Ryan's site messed up? I'll go check that now....but it does seem that I saw Ryan was claiming to have the noob sub-c v2 for sale on his site..... will you please post the link that you used to get that watch OP?
