Hello Mates,

want to share just for impressions a few pics of above mentioned watch:

Parts and Mods:

MBW 1680 case, thinned case drilled lugholes, and completely shaped
polished and so on, CG's shaved from inside and outside, lowered crown
position to get closer to the bezel, Rehaut dulled and easily polished

New Aftermarket bezel assembly with sharp teeth and sharp edge on top
of the bezel, bezel turns smooth like gen, needs to be pressed down;
retaining ring shaped to fit gen spec or gen plexi; WSO inlay combined
with plasic Vintage-pearl, WSO inlay sanded for lower gen-like Fittment in
the bezel

2879 ETA slowbeat movement, date change parts are removed, movement holder sanded,

- GEN 5513 glossy SWISS-T<25 dial
- WSO 580 endlinks
- Rep 93150 bracelet
- gen spec springbars
- gen spec 25-19 plexy service doomed J&K-Plexy
- GEN 703 vintage crown, screws down smooth
- gen spec tube
- Yuki Vintage-Rolex hands 1680/5513 style for ETA

Gorgeous! The dial makes it, IMHO. Bezels, cases, bracelets, crystals can all be dealt with. I've been let down by so many rep dials, even from the likes of yuki, ingod, etc. With any rep watch, my eye goes straight for the dial, and I pick them apart unmercifully.

When I decide to build a vintage super fraken, I'm going to make sure I have a budget to build it around a gen dial.
