I will use the 45 mm titanium PO in this project as it have the correct case back with liquid metal engraving. The SS PO 45 mm should not have this caseback what I know...

Super LOL about it's not available on Ofrei as I said in earlier post. It was, this is the exact same movement I bought on E-bay. According to the serial No. on Ofrei.

The information on the mig data was inaccurate. (Top Gun ref)

All the information that I have read prior, on the linge size, suggested the movement size was larger than the 2824. If this is found to be incorrect, I stand corrected. I wish you the best of luck and will give you any support I can to help. What a fun project.

Interesting project santre, these movements may have been review specimens that somehow got in the wild, hence ending up on ebay? Not sure omega would be impressed with the seller :)

Keep us posted on how it goes. If anyone can do it you can. It's gonna be a real challenge though. Don't anyone attempt this at home :D

Yes may have been one of those review samples like this:

And yes I have access to some heavy machinery and also little knowledge in how to use them. And the two latest PO projects turned out well.

Some reminder pics when I fitted the 2892-2 (Omega 3220) and the Omega 2500c in V5 PO cases just to bad I did not make the hing finish on the movement ring on the gen 2500 movement PO.

It was available mate as I have asked for a quote+shipping from ofrei but they had only one which was already sold and they were not allowed to order more by omega..it was $900 I remember..
this one you bought from ebay is one movement from the wild..

nice! but can you verify that the v1 CrPO really has a ceramic blue insert or is it aluminum only? I have a doubt on the finish by the looks of it..
All materials used is really titanium? (Bezel, case, bracelet & clasp, caseback?)

After looking at your pictures of the planet ocean (with the gen. 2500 Omega movement) seems like you are the right person for this type of build. I'm glad that somebody got some good use out of me browsing ebay for Omega watches.
