I just can't understand toro saying on RG "if they won't replace the bezels, the watches will be passed on to the next buyer".. I'm not even speaking about that beiing wrong etc. But I mean WTF?? Are you really going to take it in the ass like that from the Noob factory? I'm not going to speculate how much money he put in this project because I just don't know, but even if it was only $100 a piece, That's still 25 grand in total on 250 pieces.

It's unbelievable. And then they go mad if you suggest anything about the situation is poor. I know for a fact shit rejected watches are being passed on to others. Shame.

thats the worst part of this, the ones that arnt passing qc go to those in the back of the line

.....and you have anxious noobs waiting to send payment. I bet you that he can find 250 people who will buy them without fixing the bezels.

It's a shame that people are waiting to pay for a watch that has this many flaws.

On the one hand I want to say 'hey, it's the rep game, quit your bitching over some small bezel screw alignments, etc. You're paying a fraction (literally, like 1.8% of the total price of the watch) of the cost to make it appear as if you are a baller, so just take the general appearance of the watch and be happy with it. If you don't like it, don't pay and move on to a different rep.'

But on the other hand, this is OUR hobby, and it's completely inexcusable to hype up a "limited release" for a premium price (compared to the prices of other reps, we're in the upper-tier here), only to deliver lackluster results. Noobs should be denied access until we get the chance to accept or reject a PROPER piece.

Hell and damnation to the wicked!!:cny::cny:

Yeah that's the worst part, but well if someone wants to accept a messed up piece what can we do right?

I agree.. and have compared. Whole dial looks wrong. But maybe they can fix it in v2 or v3. Big dissapointment for everybody that preordered though.
But man, if it was me who had this batch made and ok'd that dial for sure I would have the factory replacing those bezels and I wouldn't take no for an answer.

v2 v3 v4 v5 v6 honestly i dont give a damn ... cause - if its true what toro said - we can wait at least 3-5 years for a v2 ....

That is the sad part...just had a friend who seems to approve QCs with the bezel issues as well.

Well, i am pulling out too, its just not the bezel misalignment but even the screws itself are misalign within the 6 pointed area and that just make it worse to do anything about the whole bezel issue.

:hehehe: Not that long mate, not that long...
Remember what Toro said about the Monty, a LIMITED piece that will never ever ever be produced again. Look at that Monty one year later...LOL :beatahorse:

Anyway, I'm also seriously starting to consider to pull out from the 57th, in favour to my projects. I think building frankens is more interesting and thrilling than wearing a 57th.

Im not on Toros side regarding the 57th street shitty edition.
But for the MH, you are all wrong. There are 300 gens, there were 100 MH V1, 100 of V2, and soon there will be the last updated batch of V3 at 100pcs.
That completes 300 units just like gen.
With 57th street, there are 250 gens, and toro is making 250 reps with guarantee there will be no more fr at least 3 years.
There is enough demand for other APs and factories have no need to work on New models and limit them in the rep amount. Most of sec@12 aps are out of stock.

Still hoping i get my QC pics with alligned bezel screws.

I think when Toro announced the MH, he didn't plan to follow the limited numbers as per gen. He said that he'd only do it for 100 pieces and no more.
Then, when he announced the PoA, imo that was the start of this whole 'follow the gen numbers' pattern and I suspect that that was also the time when they decided to produce more MHs to match the gen numbers. Then comes the 57th. They could have stood up to their words but when opportunity comes, nope. And yes, this is not a gen watch business so I shouldn't have over expected something.
There'll be always more as long as the demand exists.

and that's my opinion.

Good ones ? There can't be any good ones.

Whilst I agree there are flaws on the dial that are practically unforgivable, I kept my order. My bezel was not perfect but no where near as bad as yours. I want to see it in person to see if its worth keeping. I know this watch with all its flaws is overpriced. I can't help but to think that in person it won't be as bad...probably will hear my rant in a week or two after I receive it.
