Yeah, this is getting interesting. Just another reason I never buy "swiss". Can't wait to see what unfolds

Got an email back from Hont, I will send the watch back to him, and hopefully get what I wanted in the first place. This is my first time buying a rep, picking a dealer, and its a bit frustrating with the language barrier and wasting of time ******* around with emails, looking for the right rotor, movement, or what not.Thatll learn me to buy a rep:facepalm:

Looks like the party is over for SW-200 buyers huh? The clones have been out there for some time but this is the first time I have seen one identified in a rep.

I'm sure there's gen. Sellitas in Divers, I have one, and it's def. gen. Diver is an expensive replica, I don't think any factory will cheat on it. No clue about cheaper reps, like Nautilus.
What I know for sure - I've never seen gen. Sellita without stamping, period.
But yes, SW-200-1 is an exact copy of ETA 2836-2, so, change stamping, and you got perfect clone of Sellita.
:p

Puretime has a "v4" Aquanaut now that can come with either the sw200 or Asian clone. Maybe you received the latter in your Nautilus?

I just noticed They did the same with the Nautilus. So unless you paid $498 before shipping for the sw200 ($100 increase in price from what it used to cost) it stands to reason that you received the clone movement. Honts not to blame tho I doubt he was aware of that. U bought a sw200 Nautilus from him in 2012 for $365.. now it costs almost 500 lol

Greg's another Sellita fan.. I know he has said they are a good choice for Swiss movements, because they are more likely to be new, with ETA supply running dry... Does he know they are duping these too?

I've never paid a premium for swiss movement especially in a rep. If you want a swiss movement then buy your watch, pay for a new swiss movement and put it in yourself.

Havent we all learned this yet?

That Asian movt in your watch is not a rep of SW200-1, you simply received a wrong movement which is Asian A2824.
SW200-1 is a clone of ETA 2836-2, they look a bit different from A2824.

Bummer about your first experience, but that's how it is sometimes. I had more bad then good purchases since 2005 when I got a first rep. That was long before QA pics.

That's really a best way, never buy Swiss version rep.
