Nice 16610 - opinions?

I came across this listing from Andrew (I know he is not TD here). I thought it looked pretty good. Anyone have this one or care to comment on the details of this rep? Is the pearl good? It almost looks like not enough material in it...but the bracelet looks real nice and the others details too.

If you want a 16610 really the only sensible option if you want accuracy and quality is a TC V4 with gen insert.

This pearl is underfilled and without sapphire cap.

Idk if that is the angle the picture was taken @ BUT,

same with the date display... I'd ask for a front view pic to see if it lines up right...

hands are always fatter than they are supposed to be and as for the pearl it looks decent. Again, from the angle the pearl looks a little hollow... if it is some clear epoxy should make that look a little nice.

BTW... im pretty sure that is not a swiss movement in there... one of the reasons Trusy isnt TD.

not impressed with the pearl...it shouldn't extend past the edges of the triangle. The rest is hard to tell with watermark all over it

I did get some watches from him already and they have all been top notch including a Daydate II with brand new Swiss movement (not rebuilt) so no reason to doubt him so far.

I was more curious what you guys thought of all the little details on this one. The Perfect Clones version did not seem as updated....

..what he said. It's Asian 2863 instead of Swiss, but I have a similar movement in a DSSD from Ryan that I'm nutz about. It keeps great time, and keeps about a 2-day reserve. Also if you've never dealt with Ryan you won't believe how fast he ships!

The watch that sixstrings is looking at from Andrew is the old noobmariner- SN F520117! Of course now days you'd probably get the later version- SN M092117. This is slightly overpriced for a 7 year old watch! And yes, it probably isn't a swiss eta- more likely a clone.

Nothing against Andrew, I just bought a watch from him today, but for a 16610, TC or BK are the only way to go- why not be happy from the get-go, even if it's more expensive. Those two are close to perfect, why settle for less?
