Hey guys,

Have you seen the new IWC Ingenieur Perpetual Calendar Digital Day Date? It's amazing....

So apparently IWC introduced their first "digital" automatic date watch in the 1800's. Lots of other watchmakers have it now, aka the Pallweber complication. My only rep with it is a Lange 1. Anyway, the IWC Ingenieur series is the first with both digital day and date, but also features a semi-translucent dial so you can see the watchworks underneath.

Guangzhou, rep this one PLEASE!!! You can do it!!!

I like it. But realistically, I don't think it can be repped - too much complications and no movement available.

Here's a promo vid of it:

I would not think twice about IWC... never liked them too much.

This is one bad ass IWC...

I dont see the resemblance to Casio you all are talking about...

Show some one me a Casio that looks like that with details on the dail, strap and open case back showing automatic movement..... eeehh ?

Yep edifice all the way. It wouldn't be a shock that it's quartz with a fake rotor like those cheap tags

The ingy is way classier, I'd even take a pilot or top gun before this one. Dial is just a tad too busy, I prefer shape case the lw the one.

dont see the edifice here @ all. dont think thats a fake rotor either mate.

but then again... I dont really care enough to drag it out any further.

Lol, I was being sarcastic on the rotor jab ;) iwc excels in merging classy, contemprary designs with a hint of modern cues. It's different and I applaud their depart towards a more daring approach.

Great Looking IWC but I don't feel it would be worth the moolah. I feel big SS/gold ingy chrono would be a much better pick.

As far as edifice is concerned I fell in love with it, looks solid. I do need a new camping/kayaking/hiking watch and I feel it would be ideal.
