Hi! This isn't my first post but this is my first time in the rep game! I just started last night after having a watch craving when i deemed by parnis (exactly as featured in gq magazine with same color nato strap) to not be good enough for summer. I read about 30-50 threads by now and understand the basics! My current goal is to find a nice omega speed master that i can put a bright fun NATO strap on and use for the summer but not have it cost me out of the door because I am a college student in the US. I find it interesting that some reps sell for $60 (few days ago) and some go up to $300 (both in the same target model I am looking for). At this rate the rep prices are almost 1/3 of the used prices on Ebay and i find that fascinating. The modding threads I have read are also very interesting. I look forward to becoming an active and helpful community member! Cheers !

Hi Fiddo! I can see you are a PAM fan by your bottom cover photo. May I ask you why it seems like Panerai is such a popular item to REP ? I don't understand the beauty of it only having seen a few pictures. Is it the unique locking function that holds down the crown? The luminescence? Anyways looking forward to hearing back from you and meeting more people!

Welcome to The Darkside!

The decent quality Speedmaster reps will cost you far more than $60, just to help set your expectations.

true that tommy boy. i've actually fallen in love with http://forum.replica-watch.info/vb/showthread.php/omega-planet-ocean-136297 and have sent hont a PM. does anyone have any info or past experiences with this seller and/or comments on the quality of this watch? i dont know much about specifics but it looks pretty darn good to me. also what do you think about a 42mm 16.5mm height omega on a 6 inch wrist that can almost bareeeely wear a 43mm 14mm height parnis? let me know thanks! thanks for the warm welcome btw guys!

Hont is a very good dealer, in my experience.

I have not seen this rep of the 8500 PO, but I own a gen 2500 and even though it wears big I find it very versatile. So it seems a good choice for your summer watch.

The PO bracelet is known to be very difficult to size (to remove and replace the links) but other than that, it is a great watch.
