Quick and easy BP Sub-c 116610 mods!

Received the new BP sub-c from sead today, and took it apart and I noticed the cyclops magnification is way too powerful due to a combination of two things, the gasket being too thick and the cyclops itself is a bit stronger than gen IMO, the gasket thickness also pushes the crystal height too high, so I sanded the gasket down as much as possible , the AR on the cyclops "pops" much more now, the black hole effect is very effective and the crystal height is more gen like , this looks very nice now and it is ALL stock parts, also did a bezel paint mod as the stock paint is off white instead of platinum..

should be ok as it still fit tight around the rehaut wall.. I sanded the thickness down only ,so the retaining ring still pressed down tight

You have to sand the outside. Half mm or so

I think the gen is still much better with a cyclops that "disappears" but this does look much better since more of the black of the dial is more visible

Are there multiple versions of this watch? I just received mine from Ryan, and I feel like my crystal height looks much closer to yours after the mod straight out of the box.... Maybe it's just the pictures. What do you think?
