Je penses que "French Fries" n'a absolument rien de Francais...mais je peux me tromper...

La Statue de la Libertée, elle, est définitivement Francaise.

I'm just being a dick BMW .
My country has been sucessively French then British colony and it's great to be bi-linguial...

true, it is a little confusing. just like belgian baguettes are from france or danish pastry is from north korea. the most wierd one is probably the Malavian fuunta bundoombwassa parrot is from well, Malavi...

Ebelskivers you call it? it's æbleskiver, which means apple sluces cuz in the old days there were slices of apples in the dumplings. So the country isnt misleading, only the name vs ingredients.....

Either way they are yummy. I had them in Solvang Calif. they just serve them with powdered sugar and syrup. I guess that's how the
Americans like them:thumbsup:

There are over 9,5 million French speakers living in Canada, representing nearly one-third of Canada’s population. Approximately 22% of Canadians speak French as their mother tongue.

The province of Quebec is home to the majority of French speakers in Canada, where 7 million speak it as a first or second language. Outside Quebec, some 2.5 million people speak French, with roughly 1 million speaking it as their first language.

In Ontario, which is ranked first among Canada’s provinces in terms of population and economy, 1.4 million people speak French.

In Atlantic Canada, including New Brunswick—Canada’s only officially bilingual province—more than 450,000 people speak French.

In Western Canada, i.e., Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and British Columbia, more than 650,000 people are French-speaking.

In Canada’s three territories, Yukon, Nunavut and the Northwest Territories, slightly more than 8,000 people have knowledge of French.

Ahah, never tested the chocolate but I have a fairly good memory of the beer. ;)

I have good memory of the beers I had there but I have absolutely no idea how I got back to the hotel...

You need to taste that Chocolate mate!
