I agree. The 217 is often overlooked for the 127.

It's the dial that I don't like in 217. It just lacks the... history, in a way.
And the whole watch looks somewhat awkward. It's like hitting a ball with the left foot, or trying to write with the left hand if you are a right-handed..

Nice re-shaped end of Swan Neck spirng, with platinum plating after shaving, in order to hide the yellow colour of the spring Noob material

Very nice crystals

I don't talk about the Swiss ETA parts, they talk by themselves.

This is my watch! I was in Miami on vacation and wondered if I could deliver the watch personally to Marlin (aka Joe). Well, I did not deliver...Joe picked up the watch in person!!

Joe is a great guy. He did the mods on the watch in 2 days and then delivered it to me in person..again!! Unbelievable.

Joe is a tall, broad shouldered guy, with a great Miami tan...not a nerdy looking dude as some might expect.

I recommend Joe's services to all forum members. I am very happy with the results!
