Toro told me the watch can't be waterproofed. Is this correct? I wear all my watches in the water, this would be a deal breaker for me. Any suggestions? Does this mean the water can't be worn in the water? (stupid questionI know but I just want to make sure)

Hi, my experience with waterproofing reps is limited and I certainly cant speak from experience regarding the watch you mention but, if its a chronograph then it adds an extra point of entry for the water and could be difficult at best. I would say if he says it cant be and its a deal breaker for you I wouldn't buy it. Obviously if one of the guys here has the watch and its waterproof then go with that.

Ask the watchmakers here about it, like 14010 or 16610 (my watchmaker of choice)

It doesn't have screw down pushers so getting it waterproof to any depth would probably be quite difficult. Getting it splash proof just by greasing the seals would probably be enough but I doubt you will be swimming with it.
