AP deployant alternative??

Gents,

Is there a better alternative to the AP deployant that anybody know of that can be used with the straps made for deployant's?
Have an apbands strap i like that I bought for the MH V2 but cannot stand to wear it bc the damn clasp is killing me.
Ive heard that you can reverse the strap not sure I am going to like staring at the long end all day though pointing up at me.

Can you use a buckle, bend the deployant or anything of the sort?
Willing to try almost anything or will go back to the rubber strap with buckle I had on it since it came in.

You can always purchase a regular 18mm buckle and that will work.. AP bands has really nice but really expensive buckles

Im curious as to what you would do about a gold deploy that didn't fit well... Should I just get a diver buckle and gold plate it?

There are gold rep buckles available. No need to plate one.

Taso, AP Bands 18mm is your best bet. They aren't cheap, but they are very well made.

Did work perfect for me with the deployment strap 1+

But prefere the Diver buckle too(mire beefy looks)

Sorry about bringing this post back from the dead, I just got myself a AP diver and looking to replace the strap with something different. What deployants are suitable and available on the market? I have never used one and have no knowledge of deployants..... I don't mind if there's a AP logo as long as it fits most Rep/custom straps and wears comfy.

There aren't that many choices for the diver buckle, So been thinking to switch over and try it out.
