After two weeks mine is not that pretty, time to polish it again...

Thanks guys.

@supermanx: I haven't worn it much yet, only a few times at work, it's still rather new... but I will. So many watches, so few wrists etc. ;)

the movement scares me, though.

With gen ETA WHS there's absolutely nothing to be scared about. I've owned... mmh... God knows how many reps with that particular movement and never experienced even ONE problem.

Don't mix it up with the timebomb CHS version, the good old WHS ETA is as reliable as it gets. Just avoid the Asian version, which is junk.

trust me, people should forget about the chs versions. i am wearing my gen right now and can't tell you the hand stack just by looking at it on my wrist. i can't even imagine the scenario happening where somebody could call you out on this while wearing your watch. you would have to hold your wrist very very still for a long time, the gmt hand would have to be crossing the hour hand and the rolex freak looking at your wrist would have to have the most amazing eye site in the world.

as usual bytor, those are absolutely beautiful pictures!!!! thanks for posting them!!!! :D

Thanks hk.

I completely agree about the hand stack. Such a big noise out of nothing. Sacrificing the reliability for
something that insignificant makes no sense. And besides, I can use this WHS version as a 2nd timezone watch
just as well as my gen.

Fantastic pic as usuall By-Tor. I have a feeling this one is going to grow on you. I have one on the way finally after months of looking at the eyecandy everyone has posted. So much for downsizing my collection. I'm also itching to get a TT sub as well. Just can't decide between blue or black.

TA8008, who would you get the TT from if you did pull the trigger?

Thanks!

I don't know. That's exactly why I used the quotation marks. :D

Whatever material it really is... it looks close enough to me.

Start a thread asking.
Why you posted in an almost 5 year old thread is beyond me.
