AP Diver Lite

Is this a good Diver Lite? Apparently its the V2 with 21J:

Angus' Noob v3 Lite (with 21J)

I am resurrecting this thread because I see that Angus has a AP Diver lite, which is essentially a v3 with a 21J movement: http://www.puretime.co/product/royal-oak-offshore-diver-black-dial-lite/ As we all know, the gen has a 21,600bph movement, so in some ways the 21J offers an advantage (especially if swapped for a gen miyota 8215). Am I missing something? At $138.00, this seems like a real bargain. I am surprised I haven't heard more about this.. especially since I just dropped $560 on a swiss v3.5 with rubber and ss bracelet.

+1, especially if the blurb is true and it is a sapphire crystal.

Why do the factories insist on getting the datewheel wrong, especially white when it should be black and vice versa. It's such a simple thing, surely. :beatahorse:

That doesn't look like a v3 to me. Looks way off. Caseback is very different. Dial looks different. No cyclops. Damn. I'm going to stop typing and just say everything is different.

Yea, could those inner bezel numbers be thinner?? I dont even have to zoom in on that pic to know that something looks wrong on it.

The v2 had a different shape cyclops and no AR. This one is correct for V3. I am not seeing the difference in the bezel either. Watch the video and compare. Looks the same as any other V3 to me.

u could toss a 5 or 10$ black date wheel on it and call it a day.

Agreed. Maybe angus can eecplain what this product is since the video and photos do seem to show different watches. For $138.00 the v3 with 21j would be the best deal in watches. With a dwo, gen miyota 8215 and bc cyclops tg is would be a true super rep for less than $200.00.
