Hey guys, I've heard alot about people talking about how good a MBK sub is. I believe I came across a post saying that it's one of the best sub which is from Bangkok. I'm going to Bangkok at the end of this month, so can any Angels enlighten me on where and what should I get from Bangkok? Also, if there's anyone who wants a watch from Bangkok, drop me a PM and let me know about it yea?

MBK is a mall in Bangkok. You want to go to a shop called "Nah Piek". Ask for the good stuff in the back. From what I understand it may take a couple if days to order certain models. I know for a fact they are out of 6538's right now.

I believe the name comes from where the watches are sold, the MBK centre, have a look on google for more information on where it is.

Narikaa can source these watches on your behalf so would be worth emailing for details/an introduction as I think he knows the guys there pretty well.

MBW has the best two tone sub available right now if that's what your preference is. I've also heard the guy who owns that shop can be hard to deal with, so you know.

Sure (i) the TT sub is / was available at the MBK store directly, and (ii) Reg can still source them today? At least for some time in 2012 he couldn't. Was there a positive update?

I tried getting one from him last year and there was a problem getting a finished watch. That was middle of 2012 though. Probably should be available by now.

Black TTs he can do (and blues sans bezel insert ;))

Well blue gen inserts are available on the grey market, so that shouldn't be a problem then completing one!

You mean how much it is? Probably somewhere in the $500 ballpark. Either Reg or the 'little uncle' at MBK will tell you exactly.

Ask and ye shall receive! I just so happened to have an email with Reg about this very same watch just the other day. Reg said price w/o the blue insert is &315 GBP+shipping (sorry couldn't get pound symbol to work) which translates to $498.00

I really want a good TT Sub! But I want a good one!
Ether something like this. Or wait and see if TC is going to offer these in the future!

I'm planning on going with this one too in a month or so. Bezel or not this is supposed to be the best TT around. And frankly the blue TT sub has been what I always wanted. You can always just get a gen bezel insert on the Bay or TRF for around $250.

All the MBK's are supposed to be Swiss and Reg checls

I know for a fact my two MBKs (TT and 5513) are the best runners I have with great power reserve.
