AP diver v3.5

I think I'm going to buy 3.5 diver from Sead once he gets the new batch in. Can anyone give me any feedback and suggestions about the watch? Is it water resistant from factory? Having a 6 inch wrist will I run into problems with the rubber band being too big?

I currently have a PAM 111 but since I live on the beach I wanted something more "sporty" that I can get wet occasionally.

What do you all think?

Having 6 inch wrist you will definitely run into problems with AP diver. Beside it is indeed big, the lugs of AP diver is overhang type. It will look funny on you

you wont be able to pull it off with a 6in wrist unless you buy a gen short strap

I wouldn't recommend taking it into the water with you. It would be fine in heavy rain etc.

On the rubber band yes, it will almost surely be too big, however can be solved with buying a gen AP Diver rubber strap for 200USD from an AP AD.

The watch is fantastic though! The bet AP Rep to date at at a fraction of the cost, eben with the gen strap is more than worth it!

I am waiting to purchase a 3.5 as well. From what sead tokd me, the divers are waterproof from the factory and should be fine for showers, swimming etc. If you plan to actually scuba with them, you should het it professionally waterproofed/tested.

As for your 6" wrist, the watxj itself shoilf be too big, but the factory strap could be. There was a thread on here recentlu about someone that purchased a gen extra small strap for the watch. You should be able to find it in the AP section.

I looked at the thread, the OP has 6.25 wrist and it still looks bigger than the wrist.. Lol
Its like bmw 3 series wearing 22inch wheels.

I can't imagine 6 wrist wearing that.... You should think a few times mate.

Is the diver that much bigger than the Pam 111? The PAM was just a little big with the factory rubber strap.

PAM111 fit better on a small wrist than the AP Diver. I have both watches. i really doubt the AP Diver would work on your wrist

Grab the short "isofrane" from SMP_lover while it's still available. The standard rep strap will not fit you.

Can anyone tell me about the swiss v3.5? The TDs have the swiss one available but not the asian clone. Besides for an updated movement, what is the difference between the swiss and the asian v3.5? The swiss v3.5 is an ETA 2824.

Nothing other than the fact the Swiss is more expensive and Probably a better movement.

Asian cheaper, swiss more expensive. Asian is better.

I bought the swiss diver v3.5 from Toro yesterday. I hope to get the QC pictures today and have him mail it out today so I dont run into problems with the CNY. He said the CNY shouldnt be a problem.

You should only post Qc pics on the forum if you specific concerns on the watch, ie crooked markers, scratches on dial case ect ect
