So I got to thinking....it would be cool to see those watches that are "non rep" that are in your regular rotation and why?
In order to weed out the obvious gen's vs reps... let's keep this to other brands than just the obvious gen porn..(but some gen pics never hurt anyone)
ok, so I'll go first...
I have this early Invicta No #4342 diver. This is one of the earlier ones when they were doing the transparent dial that allows you to see the date wheel underneath. Later they went with a solid dial and the lume wasn't as good. Cost cut?
Bought the thing on *bay for $59. It was grimey, a broken rubber strap. It had condensation fog inside from its 7 day trip from Florida. The funny thing was a piece of lint stuck in the minute hand so it had this funny "etch a sketch" thing going on the crystal.
Took it to a watch guy who cleaned her up. I removed the ugly chain that usually hangs from the crown protector with some pliers and bought two 26mm deBeer ballistic nylon straps for $44 bucks.
All in all, cost about a $100 bucks but I love the damn thing. Lume lasts all night and it gets a lot of compliments....the only "Invicta" I own and I seem to keep the damn thing in my weekly rotation.
