Hi mates,

I wonder if somebody has any experience with gen Hublot screws?
I just got this set:
4-1.jpg

There are 4 long H-screws (for bezel), 2 shorter H-screws (I think either for bezel or strap), one more super-short H-screw - no idea where it must go; six caseback screws; 10 small short screws (I think 8 of them must go for case assembly by small pipes), 2 more fat short screws (no idea where it must go), 4 small o-rings and 2 steel small washers ( also no idea of targeting).

Can you advice, mates? Previous owner can not help.

Sounds like you need the Flying Dutchmans advice.

I've got a gen. Looks like he's missing a few..

You should have this...

- 4 bezel screws (longer)
- 2 bezel screws (shorter) at 2oclock and 4 oclock positions
- 6 caseback screws
- 8 screws for the case (located at 9 and 3 - sandwiching the case)
- 4 strap screws
- 4 scews on the side of the straps

total 28 screws in Titanium.

You'll also need a lot more than 4 orings as well..

Thanks, but where must o-rings and washers go?

o-rings were used to space out the screws. So if the screws were not flush with the case (usually the bezel), it could be spaced out and tighten down the bezel without it (bezel) being too loose.

They are mainly for the bezel.

I have NO idea what the washers are for...

I got them from a member sale on parallel forum.
That is no much reason to post side by side photos - screws Gen and V1 are looking absolutely the same (even gen are a little bit darker - maybe some ultrasound bath needed; my gens are not new, and previous owner used kind of Loctite on them)). The main difference as I see is material - gens are from titanium, so the tread must be much stronger.

The same forum member now selling other parts of his watch on eBay (you can find his RG crown and crystal).
