Two new starps - gen or fake???

I purchased and received two straps for my Big Pilot.

I purchased one blue croc and one brown leather. I paid a lot of money and i'm scared they are both reps.

Please take a look at my iPhone photos and please share your thoughts with explanations.

My Vac 5002 with a gen black croc. See the difference in the stamps. Is that because the blue strap is a limited edition or maybe because it is a rep?

My gut feeling says that both strap are rep. What do you think?

I agree with asking strap daddy..

My two cents as I've spent a lot of time over the past few days looking for a gen IWC strap. It seems nearly all I have seen have three sets of stamps on the gens. Something like QBH or OAF, I think it depends of the model, then IWC and a 5 digit number(serial?)

I have two gen IWC straps. I agree with your own evaluation that they look like reps due to the stamping. On the blue , I am looking at the finish on the leather. I do not see the pattern that a Gen usually displays. But SD would be the best judge of this. They certainly do not display the stamping that my GEN IWC's show.

I wouldn't worry too much about the stamps as I have seen lots of variations. Mine, for example, comes from AD and has the IWC and 5 digit stamp (no 3 letter).

If the brown one is a rep, then it is a very good one. The blue one instead...

I don't know...I have a gen too with different lettering as well...

To me the rivets are the give away. When you see something like HK Tan or Peter ACC, they just can't get the right rivets. They look gen to me but then the leather doesn't at times...weird. Where did you get them?
