Hi, Gang!

Here are some items I had purchased from Price Angels back in late September, which just arrived today. A rare P.A. botch up occurred with abnormal shipping "jam" occurring. P.A. Customer Service was reassuring and apologetic. I purchased these on a whim: a pair of headphones "by Dr. Dre," and a quartz Omega mystery watch. After seeing actual retail prices for the Beats, I thought I'd try a pair of reps, and actually was quite surprised. I tested them against a nice pair of Panasonic wrap-arounds (the head) for comparison and discovered a very clear, low distortion sound coming from the headphones, which were also very comfortable on the ole noggin. The detailing and production values for these "Polos" weren't too bad, and the package they arrived in seemed pretty convincing. I paid $11.11 USD for them. Here are some pics:

Not surprising: There's no volume control on the cable, but the cable itself is hefty.

Omega Quartz Watch

The quartz Omega watch is a generic style, with no special category for it, e.g. Seamaster, Speedmaster, Planet Ocean, Constellation, etc. The case isn't too bad for a $7.98 watch. It measures 45mm across, including the crown, 11mm thick, and weighs in at 89.3 gms. The dial is fairly clean and simple, with a very small date window. Lume on it is bad; just the bezel pearl and hands glow. The bezel itself is interesting: the insert kep falling out, so I glued it in with some Loctit. Now, heh, the bezel doesn't move either. No problem. As with quartz watches in general, it keeps fairly accurate time. The caseback lacks any indicator of its heritage, as you'll see in the pics. The bracelet, though, is a travesty -- very thin, very flimsy, and very cheap. Probably a better bracelet or strap would be much better, but for the price ($7.89), what can I say? I'll no doubt just give it away, rather than trying to sell it. The shipping cost would be equal to the cost, heh! Well, here's some pics:

Note the well shaped and define crown and crown guards:

Yeah, Beats "Polo," which I believe is supposed to be "Solo." What do you expect for $11.11? Actually, Beamer (BMW), they don't sound too shabby. And, yes, as GREECEAN said, the Omega is "interesting." (for $7.00+).

Thanks for the feedback gents; always appreciated.
