I'm really wanting a good rep of this watch. Can someone please point me in the right direction to get one? I'm looking for the deep blue dial like the older models had. I'm not scared to pay for one, just don't want to get too crazy.

I had a gen 16613 TT blue that was stolen from my truck at the gym, and I very very much miss it, but just don't have the thousands to replace it, and my insurance company is telling me theres nothing they can do about it.

I've tried searching and searching, but didnt come up with anything, and just don't want to go on a random rep site and pay for something that is going to break, or isn't what's pictured. If anyone could point me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks,

Jason.

Hi Jason,
You need to spend some time reading through the forum. A week or two. Then pick the TD you like and buy one. Be very patient and don't expect perfection. Just my tips for you friend :)

I like Angus at Puretime.co or Mary and Rochest at WI watchesInternational, but there are other good ones too. The choice is yours. Cost will probably be close to $400 for a nice one.

Cheers

PS and when you find a nice one, let me know. I may get it too. Right now I'm talking to a guy about a gen. ;)

I will do some reading, in between working 80hr weeks, it's hard to look at this computer screen anymore than I have to. I don't mind spending a little money on a good rep, but my breitling chronomat evo ran me a little over $6000 used, and the submariner that was stolen I got a great deal at $5400 for it, but that's when I was doing finance management and had that 10k/month income. I'm at about half of that now, so no more gen's in my near future.. LOL

I will do some research, and let you know what I can come across, but for sure pulling the trigger on one this week.

By all means go ahead with buying the bluesy - it is lovely, but just be wary about the gold wrapping on the crown and the bracelet. It's never been good on reps traditionally.

Shortening your efforts, the best 16613s are the wm9 and MBK.

wm9 is sold out and rarely offered, if so it's in $ four digit range then. You may have a chance prior x-mas when many reps get offered to fund presents.

MBK is very good as well but first posts in the international forums said it's hard to get now as well. You may drop Reg Narikaa a mail or PM for chrcking the availability.

My LORD that is one fine rep. They say everything has a price. What's your price!? lol

On a serious note, I have searched the wm9, can't find a single thing. Narikaa only has TT black dial 16613's. I want my blue. I would pay top dollar for a rep like yours bud, beautiful, looks just like the real thing, and an older version at that with the blue the way it is.

Same for me, I got a TT from Narikaa in june.
Maybe he does not have any at this time, but he should probably be able to get one next time he travels to increase his stock again...
From pictures I'v seen, I would say a BK WM9 seems best option though.

The source of Narikaa has a shortage on inserts that is why they are not availble, Reg is in Thailand right now. His trip before this one it was also not available in blue.

I'd say wait it out for Reg. He's the only one who has a decent one anymore (IMO), and the shortage will only be temporary. If you found a wm9 come up for sale here or on another forum, expect to see it for 900-1300usd.

Hm, a gen insert may be a good solution then. They are not as rare (or demanded) as Sub LV inserts at present. :)
