Hi all,

I have my Breitling skyland 7750 that I got from trevor. From the day I got it the movement has done this very weird thing... I thought at first the movement was completely shot, but I then noticed that the watch works flawlessly as long as it's just sitting there, but as soon as it's disturbed (put on wrist or even picked up) it stops! :cry:Any ideas?? It seems like the movement of picking the watch up or wearing it would actually be winding it and keeping it moving, but for some reason it will only run while it is not disturbed. Thanks!

Could be a lot of things, all of which are probably balance or escapement related: hairspring rubbing on something, too much endshake, missing balance jewel cap, severe overbanking, etc...

It's going to have to go to a watchmaker for diagnosis, I do know that... :frusty:

If it was acting up from the day you got it why didn't you send it back?

Thanks for the input! Will be sending it to a conus member to see what's up. And of course Trevor offered to replace or fix it, but I didn't want to send it all the way back to china. Risk/time...

Cracked jewel/ endcap/ balance staff, along those lines.
