Safari has black numbers. That is a Fantasy model. The correct one has a rubber clad bezel. I'm pretty sure about that.

Yes. You are correct. I was confused because that dial also comes in a version with the rubber clad bezel.

my avatar for years on rep geek is this watch on a gen safari strap and I have gotten numerous pm's asking me where I got my safari watch, lol

I believe when the seconds at 12 roo's first came out there were only 2 options
White Thames and Black Thames
Soon after others followed

Let me break it down for you.

At first i thought it was a gen, hence the question "is that a rep" and the BS meter. (BULLSHIT meter)

I then discovered that the watch is a franken watch. (A rep with a lot of gen parts). Hence the quote "it's alive" from the movie "Frankenstein"
