Buying a Speedmaster

Greetings RWI, I'm thinking of buying me an Omega Speedmaster that is 1:1 or very close. I need recommendation and great dealer. Thank you in advance.

None of the speedmaster reps are very good, and have fairly large flaws. That being said, if these flaws dont bother you, any dealer can source you one.

Please do yourself a favor, read up in Brand Forums-Omega
We have talked a tremendous amout about the Speedmaster Moon's and Broad Arrow's.
The subdial spacing and lack of a dome plexi (acrylic) crystal leaves all the reps way off for a lot of us anal knotheads...

However, being new, you prolly would enjoy a manual wind Seagull ST19 version reguardless....only the jedi expert will notice most likely and you will prolly like it, wear it and dig it....until you learn more and grow in rep'dom.

Yep. I think that's the only way you can get a 1:1.

The (old?) ST19 manual wind version with a domed plexi mod is about as good as a Speedmaster Professional rep gets. And it's not that great because of the subdial spacing. The rest of the package is pretty good. Here is the one I used to own:

If you are truly a fan of the Speedmaster...start saving! I spent most of 2011 saving or searching for this one:
