The version in your link has the happy feet dial.
It is the 45.5mm model.

When you mention 4th or 5th gen, that usually refers to the 42mm model. :)

This one does not .....

Since my newbness never bothers me, I'll ask... What are happy feet? I have looked at both dials, trying to figure out what that might mean, and I can't see the difference. Help

Mind you, the diver isn't helping much. She is magnetic, and keeps making me los attention.

Can someone inform me which generation the Omega UPO is currently on? 4th/5th/6th?

I'm interested in picking up a UPO from Lay's website, however I'm not sure what version of the watch he has in stock. When it comes around to ordering hopefully he will have the best generation of the rep available.

Thanks! Do you know if it is a significant upgrade on the previous generations?

A review on the 5th generation UPO would be great if anyone here had a link for me.

There are news about the best Omega reps? :) I can see that the last edit was over a year ago. :)

My best regards,

One tell I've noticed on the Speedmaster Dates and Day/Date reps is the happy feet on the applied dial logo. Not quite a deal killer for me but worth noting for those who demand higher fidelity. They are a bit obscure in the photos from OP but apparent where posted in TD website pics.

Seeing as this thread has been bumped (and not by me), Can anyone tell me if the 36.25mm seamaster has been replicated?

Here is some information from Amazon, posted so people can see what I am talking about:

[ame="http://www.amazon.com/Omega-2223-80-00-Seamaster-Quartz-James/dp/B00172V9HI/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top"]Amazon.com: Omega Men's 2223.80.00 Seamaster 300M Quartz "James Bond" Watch: Omega: Watches@@AMEPARAM@@http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41ME-jEfsRL.@@AMEPARAM@@41ME-jEfsRL[/ame]

Omega Men's 2223.80.00 Seamaster 300M Quartz "James Bond" Watch
Watch Information
Brand, Seller, or Collection Name Omega Model number 2223.80.00 Part Number 2223.80.00 Item Shape Round Dial window material type anti-reflective-scratch-resistant-sapphire Display Type Analog Clasp Fold-Over Push-Button Clasp with Safety Case material Stainless steel Case diameter 36.25 millimeters Case Thickness 11.5 millimeters Band Material Stainless steel Band length mens Band width 18 millimeters Dial color Blue Bezel material Metal Bezel function Unidirectional Calendar Date Special features Luminous, water-resistant Movement Swiss quartz Water resistant depth 1000 Feet

I realize that it is Quartz, which I am no great fan of; but, if the Gen is quartz, it is reasonable for the rep to be also.

If it has been reped, who carries it (and is it any good)?

Quick Q: Does a Speedmaster rep with sunken subdials even exist? I keep running into Speedmasters that have flat subdials and naturally that's entirely unacceptable. If you know where to get a proper Speedy do post a link :)

Well, took the matter into my own hands and found these:

http://www.puretime.co/product/speedmaster-date-black-dial/
40mm Asia Valjoux 7750 Chrono Date (fairly accurate rep, subdials still too flat, sold out)

http://www.watcheden.net/omega-speedmaster-automatic-with-black-dial-and-bezel-i-17642-p-1.html
42mm Quartz Chrono (poor subdials)

http://www.watcheden.net/omega-speedmaster-automatic-with-black-dial-s-s-i-70046-p-1.html
40mm Quartz Chrono (poor subdials)

http://www.watcheden.net/omega-speedmaster-th-anniversary-automatic-with-black-dial-i-18827-p-1.html
40mm 50th Anniversary Quartz Chrono (poor subdials, the printing on the dial is SO BAD)

http://www.watcheden.net/omega-spee...own-dial-full-rose-gold-case-i-19913-p-1.html
38mm HW Chrono (spiffy subdials, rose gold case = fantasy watch?)

Looks like there's a fair amount of sunken subdial speedys but they're mostly pretty bad; I guess I'll wait for a proper rep.
