just received an Omega SMP Chrono from TD cost $238 + postage, problem is the bezel is not fixed on properly, is higher one side than the other and turns very loosely, there is also a small scratch near the pearl, i do not want to return the watch so can anyone advise if this is an easy fix, and should i request a new bezel.

hard to capture on camera, its sitting slightly higher on helium side, not a great deal just thought this was the problem making the bezel wobble.

Basically its the click spring under causing the trouble. Installing a gen one would solve the problem.
Another way is to slightly bent the small clips the rep one has, where the bezel lays, it will get more firm.
The black arrows show the ones i am talking about. The click spring on the right is the gen one.

this involves removing the bezel then, i will contact the dealer before attempting that, or is it easy to do?

Not that hard, just a thin blade between the case and the bezel and working slowly round it will make the bezel pop out...
But if you dont feel comfortable working on it, better leave it as is.
