DSSD on Nato Strap, Tell me you love it!

I would like it if it was the actual bond style with the buckle not the NATO style. Or even if the hardware was polished instead of black , doesn't do it for me. But great color choice

I have to say that I was prepared to not like this - the NATO strap, the color, the very idea. But having looked at it for a couple of days, I must say that I like it quite a bit. It makes the watch more utilitarian, rugged, military looking.

I have to say that NATO is more comfortable for every day wear. if going by looks I would call it a tie. I miss the bracelet on mine (so shiny!) but do not miss the weight and worries of desk dive scratches, buffing it, polishing it and babying it.

Slap the nato on and its ready for every day wear and tear. the biggest plus, after your nato gets worn out... you buy another for 15-20usd.

I love N.A.T.O but I hate Natos.

They look silly on such expensive watches, and no one on the front line depends on a Rolex or any mechanical watch anymore for that matter.

I will admit however, to liking the Bell & Ross gen velcro, really well designed:

Nope, I used the same lugs that were on the bracelet.

While I agree that if you enjoy it by all means where it like that. But I completely understand how some people view it as making it cheap. Just because it's a rep doesn't mean it has to look cheap (cheap to some people that is).

This is not an attack on people that like nato straps, just a different perspective.
