I am a total noob, who have been trying to put myself in the subject watches in general lately, and of course the rep's (it's pretty exciting, but where I actually was pretty sure on what I was looking at first, then I now nicely confused ... but HOOKED) ..

As many properly I first stumbled over (link to non-trusted site "perfectwatchez" removed, DVL) while searching on watches in general ... luckely I found this side a month ago, before I actually bought anything from it ...

Beside that I live in denmark ...

So hi to all of you from here ...

Welcome! Good advice above. Order just one rep to start, read a lot about it prior. My advice is go with a super rep type, not a sub. If you think the Panerai's are cool, there are some amazing ones out here.

Be prepared for the addiction to get worse.

One advice from me is to think not of which watch you would like and then buy the rep, but check which reps are good and then choose one of those.

Thnx again for the warm welcome ... and even more so for the nice starting advices ...

Sadly I have to say, that though I highly admire the pam watches and the one who carries them, and know it's properly the biggest fashion icon right now ... then I haven't really fallen in love with them personally ... (perhaps it will change, - actually I will try to read the mentioned review thread right away and see if that will somehow fix my bad judment, taste, and so on) ...

I'm basically going to browse for two to three different kind of watches, while educating myself more (all will properly be clone preferable superclone movements):

1. Something very simple, and small with a classy leather strap (think VC, deville, the smallest IWC) something like that ... something I can use for work and every day stuff ...

2. A sports watch, for the weekends, going on cafe, going shopping, and so on ... it's a bonus if it can take the banging of the gym, and the showering after ... I actually have fallen in love with the sub, and not even the no-date ... though I DO fell and know, as trksh-bzr coined it there is a controversy about whether it's lame or an icon(he did obvious not suggest that it is lame, - neither am I personally claiming so) ...

3. I still consider myself a young man lol, so something for when going clubbing, instead of to clubs(you know loool. don't wear your Brentlinger or Ross & bell to the "gentlemen club")... so I will consider something for this occasion ... like mentioned a Brentlinger Navitimer or Ross & bell .. or something else :)

I'm just graduating in philosophy from the university of Aarhus ... So my echonomy is rather limited ... so is the freedom of choices ...

But over time I do want both reps I can practically USE, and something I think is nice :)

I'm not just going to go for one paticular watch ... but as the man said earlier ... look for watches which are good (reps, or just good watches in general) in those 3 categories ...

AND jesus, I hope you where kidding when you said, I should hope the obession does not get worse ... I have read in here almost full time for the last week ...
