Hello all Noobs,

Welcome to RWI home of the WIS. As a noob you've most likely visited an AD and seen some Gens.. now you're looking for a 1:1 rep maybe a YM or a PAM, SOSF or perhaps the Ultimate DSSD. Though the current craze is AP with AR and Lume. (VAC, Domi or Wiz can help) I myself WTB a UN or perhaps an IWC and HBB. Whatever you're looking for I'm sure that you'll be happy to call The Darkside home. Though we still love our brothers at RWG, RG and WUS. Soon enough you'll be a RIS and VIP soon after.

As a warning this hobby can be frustrating.. dealing with TDs, PP and EMS... But FTW wokky rehauts, CG's and sec@6 are all part of the fun. Keep in mind that every sub is not a MBW or even MBK for that matter! ALE would certainly recommend a 111M from Noob with a modded swan neck but that's another topic as H Fac has certainly been up to par since last CNY.

So read up and make some friends... Over time you'll learn the art of modding and building frankens in search of your grail. It may be a B&R an LV or perhaps a UPO with no happy feet. IMO a PloProf with an OEM strap from MR is a great choice. Though HONT or SEAD have great rep too. In any case keep an eye out for a GTG in your area. I'm CONUS, BTW so PM me.

Awesome. All jokes aside, this post actually is great reading as a rep road test for a not-quite-noob, i.e. a guy like me who has been reading for about three weeks, posting for one. I thought I still didn't know much, but having understood about 95 percent, now I feel like I've crossed a threshold... nice to be in good company!

On a serious note, is there actually a sticky somewhere with a dictionary for all these terms? I'd love to see something like that.
