Ladies and Gents,
We have gotten away from doing the right thing here of a late, a lot...
One pet peeve that can easily be fixed is we should always post more than one picture in a sales thread. A head shot and case back shot should be mandatory. While most do a great job posting numerous beautiful shots, this issue has been ramped for a longtime now, and it needs to stop. Lets make sure we give our buyers a good description not just verbally, but visually as well. It's a win win for buyer and seller!
Thanks
Z

Sellers have everything to gain in providing enough quality pics, because the pics will generate more interest from potential buyers and help selling the watch at the requested price.

Couldn't agree more :ZoSo:.

There's a number of sales with only one blurry photo that looks like it's been taken from the other side of the room.

..and try to keep these pics hosted for three more months. I for myself always like these for reference when doing price search

+1 to this. Not only does it benefit the buyer in getting the best views possible of the piece being purchased, but the seller is more likely to make a sale doing this.

Exactly!

i am amazed how many people will post the worst pics Ive seen, and want $500+ for the watch.

What I see most often is the focus on the background, not the watch, like so...

A close second would be those people that haven't heard of daylight. I love low light, fuzzy, noise filled pics as much as the next guy... but if Im throwing down $$$, I want some decent photos. I expect photos at least as good as what I can take. I use a cellphone like most of the world now for a quick point and shoot, and I always manage decent pics.

Totally agree. It goes without saying that it is to the benefit of the seller to have quality and numerous photos to make the sale happen quickly and smoothly.

Well plus to most of what you have said.

Good and clear pics, help the buyer and your self to make the sell. Blurry pics are just unacceptable, this should have been a reason to nuke a sale, if you ask me...

You want to sell the watch? Take some regular photos people! To show how beautiful your watch is or where the scratch is located. This isn't that much to ask...

I also agree with co axial, leave the pics for a while there, people are searching, personally i haven't erase not one all these years if i remember correct.

Simple things that make the difference thought, nice of you MrZoSo to bring this up!

Sales pics should thoroughly describe the watch. Agreed.

What has been bothering me more is the pics disappearing after less than 3 months. I too use them for reference.

Yep, if the watch can't be seen completly then it should Not be allowed here.

I don't want to hear about your shitty camera, F that, thats BS and its those blurry out of foucs pics that have some of these sellers sending out watches that do Not meet expections or descriptions.

Everypne is so scared to say its scratched, well listen up you dopes, even brand new watches are scratched. Watches with polished centerlinks and cases get minor scratches sitting in the box it just F'ing happens.

If its Mint so say and mean it, if its Near Mint say why, if its Great explain, if its Good say whats good, if its worn just tell us. Many guys buy watches for parts and could give a shit about a minor scratch on the side of the case wear you laid it on your nightstand, use your F'ing head.

Not only bad photos, but just three... 3 photos for a 700$ watch??? Come on people!

Sorry for being an as$, but when you want to sell something you have to advertise it correct...

You're far from being an a$$, this is just common sense if you ask me.
