Build it! That's what I'm doing. It will be exactly as you want it and won't be as expensive.

I'm have all the parts incomming for one of these at the moment. Here's the build list

Cartel 5512 $218
Yuki Snowflake dial and hands $160
Yuki plexi pearl $28
Yuki tudor rotor (not really needed) $28
Clark Blue bezel insert - 5512/5513 - $14.30
Clark Tropic 19 - $17

So about $470 in parts.

You can add on top of that if you want though.

Gen ETA 2472
Gen Crown/Tube combo
Get lugs drilled for 2mm springbars.

Gen crown and tube plus drilled Lugs to fit 2mm spring bars are a must imo. Nice build bonesey. Look forward to seeing it.

From Josh at perfect clones. But I'm sure our TD's could get it cheaper. I know Trevor has the 1665 that is the same as the cartel dealers. Sead also said he could get any of them.

thank you for the answer.

I think i will re make my collection :
--> sell all of my watch with diameter > to 42mm
--> buy vintage replica.

I have an question for you Bonesey.

Can you assure that the build will be waterresistant ?

Can never be sure of that, but I don't see why it cant be. Properly sealed crystal and greased o-rings should be no problem.

Jewellery and Watch will build you a perfect one for about 1k. You can even use a gen Tudor ETA movement.

Thanks for the compliments on my watch.
To clarify, this is what my watch really is built from.
Old MBW 5513 case set- cg's modded and case softened by Highoey.
Gen Rolex T19 service crystal
Gen Rolex 703 crown and tube
Gen Tudor blue insert with Ofrei pearl (most expensive part)
Yuki dial, v 1 in first pic are Yuki hands, v2 now has Jmb's hands.
Swiss eta 2824 with hack/detent removed by Jmb
Gen style 2mm spring bars
Caseback engraved w Tudor by Jmb
Rep rivet bracelet with gen clasp
All work done by Jmb other than lume by Pbad
I have around 1400$ in this watch with the gen blue insert being the most expensive part. I have not seen the blue Clark insert, but if it has the proper small hole pearl then you can fix that with an Ofrei pearl.
I agree 100% with Bonsey's list to build this watch and you would have 90% of what mine is. Had I thought it through...I should have built it that way...lol
My watch recently was upgraded with better hands and a few minor fixes.
Good luck on your Tudor build OP..look forward to seeing it!
