First purchase from Hont

Thinking about a quartz AP ROO Safari and Ruben Barricello Ltd from Hont. Not ready to splash $500-$1200 on the 7750 sec@12 just yet but need an AP ROO fix. My question to those who have got these from Hont is this: what is the quality like? Plenty of comments in the threads, but no QC's or actual photos. I know they will be inaccurate, but what is the feel and finish like. GFC starting to impact on my replica habit!

How long does Hont usually take to send EMS or tracking details?

Most of those Quartz APs are really nice. A lot use the same case/dial as the 7750 version.
Tracking? Dunknow, never use it, never pay attention to when it's supplied. The best way is order and forget.

I've ordered some watches from Hont. He supplied the EMS tracking number by himself once and once I had to ask him for it. It took a few days for the tracking system to validate or recognize the number.

I'm in Canada and the total time it took from Western Union payment, to him procuring the watch, sending QC pics and then for the watch to arrive on my door was 3 weeks.

Re: AP quartz. It seems that you know that the $90 quartz watches aren't super accurate and thus you won't be disappointed if you spot flaws. Having said that, for $90, they are nice looking and are not light-weight cheapo watches. Heck, they feel nicer than my old $100+ gen Fossils.

Hi swatcher, thanks for that. Parcel is now only about 2 days from arriving in NZ. That makes it about 3 weeks from WU payment to delivery. Not too bad. Brought the AP ROO RB Ltd from Andrew at Trustytime, have used him many times and been happy.

Update

Watch arrived today. Well packaged and tightly wrapped. Good value for $90. Broken date wheel out of box though, I have emailed Hont about it and will see what happens. Suggested a discount off next purchase as I will buy another from him. Not a big problem more of a pain really. A good dealer.
