I just don't see how people can be so sick in the head, and the fact that advisors of Penn State turned a blind eye to what was going on is even more sickening.

Im sure he will spend the rest of his life on the recieving end, just like those kids he raped and pillaged.

BELLEFONTE, Pa. – Joe Paterno's family says the "healing is just beginning" but that Jerry Sandusky's conviction on 45 counts in his sex abuse trial is "an important milestone."

The family of the late Hall of Fame coach released a statement, saying their hearts and prayers are with the victims and their families. They thanked the jurors and said the community "owes a measure of gratitude" to them.

Sandusky was convicted Friday of sexually assaulting 10 boys over 15 years. The accusations had led to the firing of Paterno, Penn State's beloved coach who died of lung cancer Jan. 22.

Penn State's Board of Trustees ousted Paterno for what was called his "failure of leadership" surrounding allegations about Sandusky.

Wish that Joe Paterno was still alive to see this verdict, then have a heart attack.... with no one around to help him but a child, who would just sit there silently wondering if he should or not.... until it was too late.

His own son, who initially publicly supported him, later recanted and told prosecutors that he was a victim as well. He was completely prepared to testify, but they didn't think that would be necessary with all the evidence against him. They advised the son to not testify due to the potential rift it may create within his remaining family. He ultimately didn't care about any rift and wanted his story told, so told a few reporters about these events.

Sandusky is a sick bastard beyond redemption. The pain he feels at the hands of other prisoners is sadly only a small pin prick in comparison to the everlasting anguish he will experience as he burns in hell for all eternity.

I just hope and pray his victims get some sort of cathartic healing from all of this. Lord only knows the pain and suffering they have endured throughout all these years.

Prosecutor couldn't put the step-son on the witness stand because of his previous support for Sandusky. Would have made things a little more sticky.

He'll be segregated with other pedophiles and degenerates. At least he'll be hanging out with the scum of the Earth rather than people with potential, and going places.

I don't know how he lived so long. If I ever found out that someone had abused my child, they would die a horrible death- but, it would be planned very carefully. And I know exactly how it would be done....

That's the correct way. Do not rush into revenge. Plan it well, leaving as little room to point back to you.
