I received a new pam250 with a7753 movement.

The seconds chrono was nicely sit at the centre of 12. I tested the chrono, the seconds hand moved smoothly and jumped back to 12 when i reset. However, the minutes chrono did not want to return to its orginal position (at 30), instead it stucked at 3. i wonder how this could happen.

then it comes to the date. The first time i pressed date wheel button on the left side of the case, the date jumped. then i pressed again for 2nd time, it stuck... date wheel did not move at all. The only way i can change the date is by turning the hands all the way.

Could this be a movement problem?

the deployant claps was also having am small problem.

damn you are running into all kinds of problems, the clasp issue seems to be from the inner spring that recesses two ball bearing type things when you close the clasp then they lock it into place, the DW issue doesn't sound good, and the chrono hand is something you could do if you know how or a watchsmith, all problems here can be fixed. :)

i did not find any related post regarding problems on a7753 that's why i purchased the 250. in fact, based on the post in rwi and reepgeek, most of the chrono problems are on a7750.

Is it possible to modifiy a7750 into 7753?

when you run the chrono.. does the minute subdial run as well? Is it running and then when you stop and reset it, resets at 3?

yes, the minutes runs good. but it resets at 3.
the quick set date is malfunctioning as well

I thought a7753 is more reliable than a7750??

Yeah I remember reading the 7750 and 7753 are about the same in terms of reliability. They both require expensive services if you intend keeping them but the 7753 is better, and more expensive, as it allows the DW to be flush.
