TC Sub DWO Version 2

I received my TC Sub date wheel overlay (DWO) version 2 today. I was pretty excited to open the package and took some photos.

Since my fiascos with parts on regular mail, I now use EMS for anything coming my way to Asia.

Of course, the meat of the thread: the new TC DWO Version 2! I use a regular cellphone camera with flat settings on indoor lighting.

Fortunately, I had a file photo of the Version 1 DWO when it first arrived. Here’s a side-by-side comparison (V1 on the left, V2 on the right) and judge for yourself.

I’m pretty happy with this new version. I believe the SEL is the final frontier for the 16610 to be rep conquered.

Looks very good, would love to see some pics when it is on your sub.

my TC sub is hopefully on its way to me with the DWO 2 installed :)

TC has one of the best subs I've seen and the parts he is offering are very good quality.

I want to see this installed and would love to see if it centers well. Arcadia, who is going to install this ?

I concur, I still haven't seen a case out there whether it was modded or not look as well made as TC's.......the crown guards look Gen like.....

Initially thinking of doing it myself (as I've done with the other DIY's I've read including yours hahah) but maybe this time around I'll have someone here in HK or Phil. who is more experienced do it for me. :)

I don't think I'd take my watch apart for just a datewheel change. I'm looking at my TC LV today and the date looks awesome and centered. It certainly doesn't look as grey as shown above. It is also very hard to photograph greys/whites - so much depends on exposure.

And I can only see the raised lettering when the watch is under magnification.

can you post a few pics of the dates on your LV, say 6 14 22 30 ?

Yeah but that post has the dial on top of the movement ring and it can be shifted to center things well, I have had eight lv and black tc subs here and they all had the same issue

Just doing a quick look, I'd say that 6, 14, and 30 are slightly left justified and that 22 is spot on.

Anyway, it's nothing that bothers me. Honestly, I'd say that my cyclops needed better centering before my date wheel needed work.

Is every number supposed to be centered in the date window?

No. Many gens are found to have left justified date font...not extremely to the left but noticable when looking close.

not sure, I would assume gen should be centered well. I have to say the BK dwo centers well, I can show pics of my own sub if anyone cares.

Hi Guys

My TC Sub just arrived, and according to TC it has the DWO 2 installed, will try and posts some photos later, although my photography skills are not the best :)
