DRSD From Stan @ WBK

Hi, Gang!

Here's a "new" (used) Double Red Sea Dweller Stan secured for me after asking him to find me a SD under $100. He quickly found me this DRSD (used) and gave me a nice discount on the price because of a scratch on the crystal. As usual, Stan's F A S T delivery had it in my hands in less than 48 hours. Have to adjust the bracelet, then off we go.

Looks good. A 1665 was in my list prior to my most recent purchase, when I decided to go with a 5512.

I also didnt know WBK would do some hunting like that for you. He was here while RG was down and now pretty much seems to be gone. Either way, good hunting.

@idontknow: Won't put it up for adoption yet; just got it.

@joegrimm: I didn't see the scratch, either. Later, I'll use the 10x loupe. Stan must have supervision.

@Steelfish: yeah, it does. Haven't lost faith in the membership or the process. Shit happens.

@thedoover: yeah, thought I'd take a gamble w/ Stan, as he's done remarkable work for me a while ago when I had some problems with one of his watches. Really a first class guy. Just sent him a PM & responded w/in 24 hours. Great TD.

thanks, PC, but I kinda stumbled into it. The SD I was looking for was NOT the SD Stan found for me; after reading the DRSD link he gave me to read before buying it, I KNEW then, "I want this baby!" Sometimes I just step in lucky stuff instead of yukky stuff, heh!
