Beater Watch From Michelle @ Silix

For the start of the week, my Rolex Sub beater ($30 special) from Michelle @ Silix. Actually, not too shabby but with faults, of course, such as misaligned engraved rehault (serial # F 437091), datewheel, cyclops, etc. But a good banger -- until the heart stopped beating 24 hrs after receiving it. A purchase of a new one from Ofrei ($20) and transplant with modifications from Katt ($62), and all is well! Yeah, I know: money I won't get back, but, hell, I'm a pack rat and couldn't just toss it out... . dave: (BTW: Couldn't figure out to delete the second blurry pic, so I inserted a less blurry one.

Sorry for the blurrie; a little shakey today... .
