There is (wether real or imagined) animosity between Glock fans and 1911 fans, with each camp believing their chosen gun represents the pinnacle of handgun engineering.

Therefore, the very idea that Glock would make a 1911 clone is enough to start holy wars.

For the record, this is a well-photoshopped Dan Wesson 1911, with Glock logos, text, and even cocking serrations applied.

PS - when I referenced 'JMB' in my initial post, that's John Moses Browning, inventor of the 1911 pistol.
